How to draw together online

  1. 1. Start a canvas

Press the big button and a brand-new drawing canvas opens, with its own private link.

  2. 2. Share the link

Copy the invite link and send it to a friend, cousin or classmate. They open it in their browser, with no app and no account.

  3. 3. Draw together

Everyone draws on the same picture at the same time. You see each line appear as your friends draw it.

A multiplayer drawing game made safe for kids

Most multiplayer drawing games are built for teens and adults, with public rooms and open chat. Draw Together is different: it is built for children from the start, so the only thing kids can share is their drawing.

  • No chat and no typing. Each kid gets a random fun name like Captain Rainbow or Doodle Dragon, so real names never appear.
  • No public rooms. Only people who have the private link can join a canvas.
  • Up to 6 kids per canvas, so it stays a small group of friends.
  • Nothing is saved on our servers. The drawing goes straight between the kids’ devices and disappears when everyone leaves.

Fun ideas for drawing with friends

  • Grandparents and grandkids in different cities drawing a birthday card together.
  • Siblings on two tablets building one big picture of their dream house.
  • A classroom group drawing a shared poster during a lesson or a rainy break.
  • A drawing relay: one kid draws a monster’s head, the next adds the body, the next adds the legs.
  • A guessing game on a video call: one kid draws, the others shout out what it is.

Works on tablets, phones and computers

Draw Together runs in any modern browser: Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox on an iPad, Android tablet, phone, Chromebook, Mac or Windows computer. Everyone sees the same picture, even on different screen sizes, and kids can be in the same room or in different countries.

Kids get the same tools as our Drawing Studio: a magic pen, rectangles, squares and circles, a paint bucket, an eraser and emoji stamps. Each kid can undo their own lines, and the kid who started the canvas can clear it for everyone.

A note for parents and teachers

Draw Together connects devices directly to each other (peer to peer), which means the devices on a canvas can see each other’s IP address, much like on a video call. Please share canvas links only with people you know, and help younger kids start and share a canvas.
